Be the heartbeat of our hospitality team! We're hiring Hosts at Traditions Hospitality Group where passion meets profession.

Host (Full-Service Restaurant)

As a Host for Traditions Hospitality Group in our full-service restaurant, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Your friendly demeanor, organizational skills, and attention to detail will set the tone for our guests' visit and contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and seat them in a timely manner, taking into account server sections and reservations.
  • Manage the waitlist effectively, providing accurate wait times and regularly updating guests on their status.
  • Answer phone calls and assist guests with reservations, inquiries, and special requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby area.
  • Coordinate with servers and management to ensure a seamless transition between seating and service.
  • Assist in bussing and resetting tables as needed to support the flow of guests.
  • Provide friendly and attentive service to guests throughout their dining experience.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be able to obtain a Gaming License (if applicable).
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Must maintain a presentable appearance and clean uniforms.

Working Conditions And Physical Effort

  • Stand and work in a restaurant environment for extended periods.
  • Moderate to high noise levels.
  • Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
