The ideal candidate is an upbeat professional who enjoys providing members with a one of a kind hospitality experience. They have a desire to provide highly personalized services, have a critical eye for detail, and have high expectations and standards.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Providing a warm, welcoming greeting to our members and their guests. Ensure that members are seated in a timely manner in accordance with The Quin service standards and ensuring high member satisfaction and an exceptional dining experience.
About This Role
  • Provides leadership and instills a culture and work environment based upon respect, providing opportunities for staff to learn, grow and develop their abilities through training, creating a positive, productive working environment.
  • Understands all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines for The Quin.
  • Greet and seat members with a smile at appropriate tables in a timely manner.
  • Be attentive to members’ needs.
  • Assist in providing a pleasant dining experience.
  • Assist in collection of credit cards from members and servers as needed.
  • Answer the telephone/take reservations/properly inform guests of all offerings.
  • Ensure quality control of menus regarding cleanliness and appearance.
  • Perform opening and closing duties according to established side work checklist.
  • Have a complete knowledge of standards of service.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of menus and current specials in all applicable venues.
  • Assist servers in the servicing of guests as needed.
  • Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of services provided.
  • Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in the investigation of member complaints regarding food quality and service.
  • Ability to assist in other related food and beverage outlets if and when required.
  • Assume additional tasks assigned by your direct supervisor or any manager of The Quin that are reasonable requests.
Position Requirements
  • Experience in a hotel or restaurant preferred.
  • Service-oriented style with professional presentation skills.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
  • A strong team player who supports their team and embraces ownership, accountability, and responsibility for the team’s work.
  • Ability to learn and master NorthStar POS.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, good prioritization and follow-up skills.
  • Basic understanding of Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, and Employment Legislation.
  • Open availability and flexibility to work according to the needs of the business.
  • Comfortable with WORD.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong written and verbal English skills, additional languages are a plus.
