Job Details

The Host is responsible for warmly greeting and bidding farewell to guests from the host stand, managing a wait list, and maximizing seating in the restaurant, patio, and rooftop. The Lead Host oversees the host team and delegates responsibilities. The team also assists with carryout and delivery orders. The Host is the first and last point of contact for guests, creating an inviting environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience

Host Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests
• Organize and manage wait list
• Ensure timely seating and accommodate guest requests
• Seat guests and communicate with servers and managers
• Maintain cleanliness at the host stand

Additional Functions

• Fill in as needed for smooth restaurant operation
• Adhere to health and safety standards, restock, clean
• Operate cash register, answer phones, provide customer service

Physical Functions

• Stand/walk for at least 8 hours
• Lift up to 20 pounds
• Climb stairs frequently
• Work in warm and cool environments with noise
