Cooper's Hawk Winery in Clinton Charter Township, MI is seeking Host Service Assistants to greet, seat guests, run food, and reset tables, delivering hospitality with attention to detail and teamwork.

You will support a fast-paced dining room, maintain a professional appearance, answer questions about food and wine, assist with reservations, and contribute to a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

  • Greet guests with energy and enthusiasm from the first interaction.
  • Answer guest calls and handle reservations with polished phone etiquette.
  • Follow daily checklists and prepare the area for a smooth shift.
  • Maintain a professional image by adhering to appearance guidelines.
  • Keep track of table flow and dining room pacing to deliver an excellent guest experience.
  • Reset tables and bar tops quickly for a fresh start.
  • Assist with running food, carryout orders, and clearing dishes.
  • Support restocking, light cleaning, and small details that matter.

  • Assist with running food, carryout orders, clearing dishes, pre-bussing tables and supporting the flow of service
  • Help with restocking, light cleaning, and little details that make a big difference[CD1][LM2]
Stay in Sync: Communicate often, move with your team, and keep service flowing.
  • Communicate constantly with Lead Hosts, Servers, Bartenders and Team Members to keep service moving seamlessly
Make It Personal: Be genuine, listen well, and tailor each experience.
  • Answer questions about food, wine, and experiences with warmth and knowledge
  • Share insights about our Barrel Reserve wine during each escort to the table
  • Add a Touch: Go beyond the expected to create memorable moments.
  • Support the overall guest experience in every area of the restaurant.
