Position Summary: Guides guests to appropriate tables as directed by the maître d'. Interacts with guests, employees, and supervisors in a polite, courteous, and hospitable manner to ensure gracious hospitality.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining professional appearance standards as directed in the Tao Group Hospitality Employee Handbook.
• Anticipating and accommodating guest needs.
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the entrance area.
• Complying with Department of Health and sanitation standards.
• Taking and processing reservations.
• Assisting with incoming calls and guest inquiries.
• Checking guests' coats and belongings where applicable.
• Setting up the front desk area, performing side-work, and opening/closing procedures as directed.
• Ensuring menus are printed, organized, and collected during shifts.
• Reporting breakage or damage to management.
• Participating in pre-service meetings and training sessions.
• Learning through observation and sharing knowledge, leading by example.
• Maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
• Demonstrating knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality and its partners.
• Working as part of a team, providing support to colleagues.

Training Requirements:

• Tao Group Hospitality in-venue host training.

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

• Previous hospitality experience.
• Previous host experience.
• Experience in high-volume restaurant, nightclub, or lounge environments.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
