Host/Retail Associate (Arrivals Team) - Crooked Hammock Brewery

As a Host/Retail Associate (Arrivals Team Member), you’re the first face our guests see when they step into our backyard escape. Your job? Set the tone for a fun and laid-back experience, whether by greeting guests with a warm smile, managing seating flow, assisting with retail sales, or offering recommendations that make their visit unforgettable. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests with genuine hospitality, eye contact, and a relaxed, upbeat energy.
  • Manage the flow of guests, communicate seating availability, and keep the vibes smooth.
  • Make sure every guest feels comfortable and taken care of from the moment they arrive until they leave.
  • Relay guest needs, seating preferences, and special requests to the team.
  • Keep guest areas clean, including resetting tables and keeping the flow of service seamless.
  • Send guests off with a friendly farewell and an invitation to return.
  • Assist guests with retail purchases—help them pick the perfect Crooked Hammock gear or a six-pack to-go!
  • Keep retail areas stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Stay up to date on Crooked Hammock beers, brand events, and promotions.
  • Promote our loyalty programs and special offers.
  • Handle transactions with accuracy and keep the cash register flowing smoothly.
  • Maintain a professional yet fun attitude that embodies the Crooked Hammock spirit.
  • Keep an eye out for any security concerns and communicate with the team as needed.
  • Work as part of an energetic team to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests.
  • Be a true brand ambassador—make decisions that reflect the heart and soul of Crooked Hammock Brewery!

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • A natural ability to make people feel welcome and comfortable.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • A friendly, energetic, and fun personality with a love for hospitality.
  • Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours) in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills and experience handling transactions (or a willingness to learn).
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexibility of schedule to assume responsibilities as needed; ability to balance personal and professional life.
