Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible to greet guests in an upbeat, friendly and courteous manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (includes but is not limited to the following)

  • Answer incoming reservation calls.
  • Complete reservations in the computerized reservation system.
  • Keep abreast of all food & beverage venues and menus.
  • Check availability on a continuous basis.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Answer the telephone and facilitate guest requests.
  • Using the table management system, manage incoming reservations and venue floor.
  • Assist with daily administrative work as per direction of the venue manager.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: (knowledge, skills, and abilities)

  • Knowledge of basic food and beverage products.
  • Ability to perform basic/intermediate math skills.
  • Ability to operate office equipment and Table Management system.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests, staff and management.
  • Knowledge, understanding and compliance of policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels and other instructions

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant experience in high-quality, high-volume operation preferred.

EDUCATION:

High School education or equivalent.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATE:

  • Food Safety Team Member Training required.
  • Training in Intervention Procedures (TIPS) required.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Prolonged standing and sitting.
  • Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to distinguish letters, symbols, and colors.
  • Normal vision and hearing range.

TYPICAL WORKINGCONDITIONS:

  • Work may be performed in a small area having a three-foot access.
  • Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
