MAJOR JOB DUTIES:

• Present clean menus to guests.
• Inspect and discard worn menus.
• Maintain a professional appearance at the hostess stand.
• Provide guests with information about hotel/casino services, including restaurants.
• Monitor waiting lines for large parties.
• Answer phones at the hostess stand.
• Oversee sidework performance and completion.
• Handle initial guest complaints and inform the manager of issues.
• Ensure smooth shift transitions and stay on duty until relief is ready.
• Set tables properly at the start of each shift.
• Assist managers with breaks.
• Provide courteous, friendly service to guests and team members.
• Perform related work as requested.

EXPERIENCE: Experience in high-volume full-service restaurants. Good organizational and interpersonal skills required.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED.

SKILLS: Excellent communication, basic math, professional appearance, relationship skills, knowledge of company policies, and English proficiency. MMS and Micros experience preferred.

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: Clark County Health Card.
