Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a friendly host to greet guests, escort them to tables, and manage reservations in a fast-paced dining environment. The role requires strong communication and the ability to multitask while maintaining high standards of guest service.

Candidates should have six months of host experience in a high-volume setting, be able to stand for long periods, and communicate fluently in English.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience as a host in a high-volume and/or fine dining environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized to multi-task.
• Ability to stand and walk for a full shift.
• Must be able to communicate in English and obtain necessary licenses/certifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort restaurant guests to their table based on party size and assigned stations.
• Answer phones and book reservations using the company reservation system.
• Process payments according to established procedures.
• Assist with station assignments, rotation planning, and opening/closing the dining room.
• Complete side work duties accurately, efficiently, and on time.

Job Description

• Greet and escort restaurant guests to their table based on the number ofpersons in their party and according to assigned stations.
• Answer phones and book reservations utilizing the company reservationsystem in accordance with established standards.
• Process payment transactions in accordance with established procedures.
• Assist with station assignments, rotating planning, andopening/closing/securing the room.
• Complete side work duties in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience as a host in a high volume and/or fine diningenvironment preferred.
• Must have excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized to effectively and efficientlymulti-task.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of a normal shift.
• Must be able to communicate (hear, speak, read, and write) in English.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any other necessary licenses and/orcertifications.
