Overview

A Host is the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for presenting exceptional customer service to ensure the guests’ first impression of the restaurant is positive.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests with a genuine smile and positive attitude.
  • Engage with guests, anticipate their needs, and respond promptly to inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain knowledge of the menu, specials, and promotions to provide accurate information.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally or escalate to management when necessary.
  • Assist with running food, delivering, and refilling drinks.
  • Guide guests to their tables and present menus.
  • Take to-go orders over the phone and in person.
  • Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service.
  • Refill drinks and clear plates during the dining experience.
  • Provide highchairs and other requested items.
  • Comply with all federal and state laws, including FLSA tip regulations.
Qualifications
  • Preferred: 1 year of restaurant experience.
  • Organizational skills.
