Job summary

Culinary Khancepts is seeking a Host/Hostess to greet guests, manage wait times, and escort guests to dining areas. The role requires solid organizational and people skills to ensure a positive dining experience from arrival to departure.

Previous restaurant host experience is preferred; ability to multi-task, maintain a fast pace, and provide excellent guest service is essential. Flexible scheduling is required to meet restaurant needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant front-of-house is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and manage guest flow.
• Strong customer service mindset with problem-solving.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones throughout the shift and direct calls to appropriate personnel as necessary.
• Greeting, seating guests, while maintaining a balanced rotation between servers.
• Clear and prompt communication, both face‑to‑face and over the phone.
• Eager and happy to accommodate all guests’ requests.
• Assessment, awareness and understanding of going on a wait as needed.
• Additional opening and closing side‑work related job duties: cleaning, stocking, setting up host stand for the next shift.
