Job summary

Heyday Houston is seeking a Host/Marketing Assistant in a hybrid role that blends front-of-house hospitality with hands-on local marketing support. You’ll gain real-world experience in social media, content creation, influencer marketing, events, partnerships, and brand marketing while supporting the Marketing Coordinator and Skin Therapists.

Ideal for marketing students or early-career marketers, with opportunities to develop client experience, photography, and event skills in a dynamic retail

Responsibilities

• Educate clients on Heyday services, memberships and promotions.
• Recommend products and memberships based on client needs.
• Support Skin Therapists and front-of-house team during the client journey.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and client-ready shop.
• Assist with product restocking, retail, organization and daily shop tasks.
• Help maintain Heyday's aesthetic, atmosphere and service standards.
• Assist Marketing Coordinator with local campaigns and campaigns execution.
• Capture photos and short-form video of services, products, team, events, and shop activity.
• Create content for Instagram, social media, promotions and other digital platforms.
• Identify organic content opportunities in shops.
• Coordinate influencer appointments and collaborations.
• Assist with local events, pop-ups, client events, and community activations.
• Support event setup, guest engagement, content capture and breakdown.
• Research Houston businesses, creators, events and partnership opportunities.
• Create and update flyers, signage, promotional materials and other marketing collateral.
• Organize photo, video, event and marketing assets.
• Stay aware of social media trends, local events and community opportunities.
• Complete assigned marketing projects and report progress.

Heyday Houston is looking for a Host/Marketing Assistant to join our team. This is a hybrid, client-facing role that combines the day-to-day responsibilities of a Heyday Host with hands-on experience supporting our local marketing efforts.

This position is ideal for a current marketing student or someone early in their marketing career who wants real-world experience in social media, content creation, influencer marketing, events, partnerships, and local brand marketing.

Reports to: Lead Front of House and Marketing Coordinator.

What You'll Do

Host + Client Experience

• Create a warm, welcoming, and seamless experience for every client.
• Manage client check-in, checkout, scheduling, rebooking, and retail transactions.
• Answer client calls, texts, and questions.
• Educate clients on Heyday services, memberships, enhancements, products and current promotions.
• Make thoughtful product and membership recommendations based on client needs.
• Support Skin Therapists and the front-of-house team throughout the client journey.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and client-ready shop environment.
• Assist with product restocking, retail, organization and other daily shop responsibilities.
• Help maintain Heyday's overall aesthetic, atmosphere, and service standards.

Marketing Support

• Assist the Marketing Coordinator with executing local marketing campaigns and initiatives
• Capture photos and short-form video of services, products, team members, events and everyday shop activity
• Assist with creating content for Instagram, social media, promotions and other digital platforms
• Identify organic content opportunities happening within the shops
• Help Coordinate and prepare for influencer appointments and collaborations
• Assist with local events, pop-ups, client events, and community activations
• Support event setup, guest engagement, content capture and breakdown
• Reserach potential Houston businesses, creators, events and partnership opportunities
• Assist with creating and updating flyers, signage, promotional materials and other marketing collateral
• Help organize photo, video, event and marketing assets
• Stay aware of relevant social media trends, local events, and community opportunities.
• Complete assigned marketing projects and communicate progress, opportunities, and roadblocks.

Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field is a plus, but not required.

Previous experience in hospitality, retail, beauty, social media, content creation, or marketing is also a plus.

You’ll work directly alongside our Marketing Coordinator while learning how local marketing initiatives move from idea to execution, while also gaining experience in the day-to-day operations of the business.

This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this franchise.

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
