Job summary

Vista Care seeks Shared Living Providers in Salem, Utah to host individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities as independent contractors. Monthly payments range from $3,400 to $3,800 plus Room & Board, with income treated as tax-free under the Foster Care Act.

You will assess needs, provide daily living support, and document care through an online EHR, with a matching process ensuring suitability and ongoing compensation tied to the level of care provided.

Qualifications

• Must be resident of the state where services are provided.
• Experience in shared living preferred but not required.
• Home environment must pass inspection by Vista Care representatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for daily living skills such as cleaning, budgeting, cooking, medication administration.
• Teaching and assisting rather than doing (do with, not for).
• Managing and scheduling medical appointments.
• Providing transportation to medical appointments, community events, day program, work.
• Daily documentation via a web-based Electronic Health Record.
