HOST HOME PROVIDER POSITION

We seek experienced Host Home Providers willing to open their homes to individuals who can no longer live independently and prefer a home setting over communal living. Providers share their homes and lives with individuals with Developmental Disabilities, offering a private bedroom, hands-on support, and ongoing daily care. You can assist those with medical concerns or behavioral challenges and make a meaningful difference. Join Support Inc. and receive training to help these individuals thrive.

HHP Provider Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including hygiene, meals, dressing
• Assist with employment coaching
• Organize recreational activities for social development
• Include clients in family activities
• Accompany clients to outings such as supermarkets, museums, parks, dances, recreation centers
• Provide transportation as needed
• Assist with medical care, appointments, medication administration
• Document progress notes and medical records
• Train clients on life skills

To be successful, candidates should:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Complete and pass criminal and motor vehicle background checks
• Complete training for Medication Administration, CPR/First Aid, and maintain ongoing training
• Have at least 1 year of experience as a host home provider
• Preferably have experience with behavioral needs and medical needs (e.g., CNAs, LPNs, RNs)
