Job description

I joined as a server on the catering staff. Thanks to Hyatt's training and support, I now oversee a brilliant team that helps bring events to life.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure Welcome and Departure are carried out to guests in the lobby.
  2. Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest's name when possible.
  3. Understand and be knowledgeable about resort products, including outlets’ operation hours, resort facilities and offerings, and resort promotions.
  4. Provide guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, promotions, activities, hours of operation, and recommendations.
  5. Engage guests in conversation to find opportunities to enhance their experience and generate revenue by understanding their needs and preferences, and acting professionally and promptly.
  6. Manage the Arrival Experience and collaborate with the Concierge, Front Desk, and Regency Club Team. Assist Front Office with escorting guests to their destinations and engage with them during the process.
  7. Be sensitive to guests' special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, honeymoons, etc.
  8. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of standard reservation procedures, including correct forms, reading telex, email messages, and interpreting availability sources within reservation systems.
Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and related systems.
