Job summary

Paradies Lagardère is seeking a Host to deliver courteous, efficient service and support dining operations in a fast-paced environment. You will greet guests, coordinate seating, and assist servers while maintaining a clean host stand and accurate wait times.

The role requires strong English communication, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift 25 lbs. Prior food/beverage experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean host stand and store appearance; monitor waiting lists and wait times.
• Provide courteous service, uphold the company's TRIFIC values, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines and comply with applicable laws.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow safety and sanitation guidelines; comply with all applicable laws.

Responds appropriately to customer concerns.

Ensures a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked host stand.

Assist servers and food runners, as needed. Must be able to maneuver heavy trays of food.

Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment

Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Food and Beverage experience in a full service setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as with other team members.
• Able to work unsupervised for extensive periods, and to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with customers and peers

• Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively, in English.
• Strong self-motivation, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
• Proficiency required in reading, writing, and mathematics, in English.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, climbing on a ladder, and walking long distances.
• Standing for long periods of time and the ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures.
