Job description

Responsible for providing the Guests with a delightful dining experience from the initial reception until the final good-bye in accordance with Horseshoe high standards of Guest Services.

Responsible for initial cordial reception to the Guests upon arrival and the prompt courteous escort to a dining table.

Advises Guests of waiting time.

Responsible for seating Guests according to established rotation procedure, distribute menus and explain the food items.

Handles any Guest complaints and resolves them quickly and courteously.

Assists in maintaining standards of health, safety, and sanitation.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required. Responsible for the initial reception to all guests upon arrival. Uses the proper greetings to guests as instructed in our training manual. Uses proper telephone etiquette. Receives payment from guests and processes payment in Micros. Seats all stations in order or rotation to ensure fairness and maximum service to guests. Coordinates with servers and bussers to assure availability of tables for our guests. Inspects podium for cleanliness, organization, and par levels of all supplies to be used during the course of the shift. Inspects and wipes down all menus at the end of each shift and replaces the inserts when necessary. Carries out Horseshoe customer service policy to each guest at all times. Works well with other restaurant employees to promote teamwork oriented atmosphere.
