Job summary

Ironwood Cafe - Cavolis Pizza - NextDoor is seeking a Host/ Food Runner to welcome guests, guide them to seats, and share specials. You will build rapport quickly and help create an exceptional dining experience by staying friendly and upbeat. Tardiness or drama are not tolerated.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, seating, and presenting menus while coordinating with servers to meet guest needs in a fast-paced setting. Prior host/ expo/ busser experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing demeanor.
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly build rapport with guests.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and carrying trays.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Host/ Food Runner to join the team at our thriving restaurant. In this role, you will welcome guests, lead them to their seats, and inform them of any specials. Your goal is to quickly build rapport with patrons and make them feel welcome. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, always smiling and committed to providing an exceptional dining experience. We do not tolerate tardiness, drama, gossiping.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a smile and inform them of the wait time
• Seat guests at their tables, taking into consideration server availability and guest needs
• Provide guests with menus and inform them of any available specials

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/hostess, expo, or busser is preferred
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and carrying trays
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Not on phone often while on the clock
