Job summary

Tumbleweed Tex Mex Grill & Margarita Bar in Floyds Knobs, IN is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests, escort them to seating areas, and present menus in a fast-paced setting.

You will help manage guest flow, share information on current promotions, and coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth handoffs while maintaining uniform standards and high sanitation and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Greet incoming and departing guests.
• Escort guests to dining area and present menus.
• Seat guests in bar or dining area per preference.
• Inform guests of promotions and service staff.
• Screen incoming calls to the restaurant.
• Manage flow of guests into dining and bar areas.
• Provide accurate wait times to guests.
• Attends to guests' needs and requests.
• Observe guest experience to ensure high-quality service.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol policies.
• Assist dining room by setting/clearing tables and serving beverages.
• Maintain Tumbleweed uniform standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet incoming and departing guests
• Escort guests to assigned dining area and presentmenus
• Seat guests in either the bar or dining areadepending on their preference
• Inform guests of current promotions and who will beserving them to ensure a smooth handoff
• Screen incoming calls to the restaurant
• Manage the flow of guests into the dining and barareas
• Provide accurate wait times to incoming guests
• Tend to guests’ needs and requests
• Observe needs throughout dining experience toensure guests receive high quality service
• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering tosanitation, safety and alcohol control policies
• Assist in the dining room by setting/clearingtables and serving beverages
• Maintain Tumbleweed uniform standards
• Performs other duties as assigned
