Job description

Description:
Provide excellent first and last impression of the venue to guests. Accurately execute guest transactions.


Position Type:
Part Time


Responsibilities:

  1. Must maintain a smile and pleasant body language.
  2. Provide prompt, courteous guest service at all times following the Casino’s guest service standards including proper greeting and farewell. Timely escort guest to tables. Answer phones and respond to guest requests.
  3. Record all transactions in Point of Sale (POS) system. Responsible for correctly handling cash, credit and comp procedures as well as properly completing paperwork.
  4. Assist all guests and servers on the floor with Food and Beverage orders in a timely manner.
  5. Assist with beverage service as necessary.
  6. Keep work area clean and stocked at all times. Prepare area for next shift prior to leaving.
  7. Clean tables as needed. Clean menus and refill or replace as necessary.
  8. Count and balance bank at the beginning and the end of the shift.
  9. Maintain up to date knowledge of all menu items offered as well as full utilization ability of all POS equipment.
  10. Process to-go orders as necessary and assist with daily catering deliveries.
  11. Assist servers, utility porters, and bussers or with catering events to maximize guest service.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent is required, unless otherwise waived by Human Resources Management.
  2. Six (6) months of cash handling and guest service experience is required.
  3. ServSafe certification is preferred.
  4. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to provide excellent guest service required.
