What will you be doing?

As a Host/Cashier, you will provide friendly and attentive service while assisting guests with food and beverage orders, handling payments, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. You will also answer customer inquiries, maintain a clean and welcoming lobby, and ensure an excellent first impression for every guest.

Host/Cashier responsibilities of the include but are not limited to:

• Greeting guests politely and enthusiastically as they enter the restaurant
• Courteously and consciously guiding guests to their assigned tables
• Monitoring guest waiting lists
• Estimating guest wait times
• Politely answering the telephone and responding to customer questions
• Be proficient and familiar with the daily operation of the Micros P.O.S. system
• Ensure quality control of merchandise displays, Bistro menus, etc. regarding cleanliness and appearance
• Ability to answer the telephone according to standards
• Have a thorough knowledge of food items on menus and current specials in all applicable departments
• Carry out cashiering functions in closing guest checks and end of shift paperwork, cash counts, credit card charges, room charges
• Perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties according to station rotation assignment
• Ensure that tables and side stands are kept stocked tidy and clean
• Attend daily meetings as required by management, perform any other duties as requested by management
• Other duties as assigned

Pay Range

USD $12.00 - USD $12.00 /Hr.
