THE POSITION:

We are looking for a part-time Host. Approximately 3 shifts per week, 4 - 5 hour shifts.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Taking reservations and manage the wait list
  • Seating guests in order of arrival, evenly distributing tables to server sections
  • Listening and responding to voicemail messages
  • Greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answering the phone and taking to go orders
  • Memorizing the menu and it's ingredients
  • Taking to-go orders and enter into the POS
  • Organize all to go orders for efficient and timely pick up
  • Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions
  • Following all steps of service, including department checklists for opening and closing duties
  • Maintaining cleanliness and restaurant appearance standards; including, but not limited to wiping down menus, setting up tables, rearrange dining area when needed
  • Keeping host station clean and organized

AVAILABILITY & EXPERIENCE: Weekend availability is a must. Previous experience as a host, barista, or in a front desk role is preferred.
