Job summary

Eggs Up Grill in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to greet guests, seat tables, and coordinate with staff in a fast-paced, guest-obsessed restaurant environment.

As the face of the restaurant, you will welcome guests, manage seating with poise, handle requests, and help ensure a memorable dining experience. Weekend and holiday availability is required to support peak service times.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming guest experience as the first and last person guests see.
• Greet guests warmly, open doors, and provide menus.
• Seat guests at their own pace and hand menus accordingly.
• Communicate with servers and managers about seating and large parties.
• Resolve guest issues by listening and escalating to a manager when needed.
• Grow with opportunities within a cohesive team.

Full-time Part-time $13.00 - $18.00 per hour

Our hours of operation are 6:00am - 2:00pm.

AHost/Hostessis the first and last person the guest sees: you are the face of the restaurant! As a Host/Hostess, you will be a member of a cohesive team that supports each other's success in a fast-paced environment.

Job activities:

• Understand our Guest-Obsessed culture and do whatever it takes to create a positive and memorable guest experience
• Welcome guests warmly by opening the door, smiling, and making eye contact as they enter the restaurant
• Seat guests at their own pace, handing the appropriate menu(s) to each guest after they're seated
• Communicate with servers and managers regarding availability of tables, seating of large parties, or special requests so that guests receive seamless service
• Handle guests' complaints by listening to their concerns, always informing a manager, and resolving issues PLUS ONE to ensure overall guest satisfaction

Requirements

Ability to communicate (speak, read, and write) in English
