Host | Bob's Steak & Chop House (Part Time)

Join our team as a Host at Bob's Steak & Chop House, located within the Omni Oklahoma City Hotel. This upscale hotel features 605 rooms and is situated in downtown Oklahoma City, near the Paycom Center, Oklahoma Convention Center, and Scissortail Park.

The hotel offers various amenities including dining outlets, a spa, fitness center, rooftop pool and bar, and extensive meeting spaces.

Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and professional Host to greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring a memorable dining experience. The role involves managing reservations, monitoring the dining area, assisting staff, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests with a smile and provide excellent customer service
  • Seat guests at available tables and manage reservations
  • Answer phones and record reservations for large parties
  • Monitor dining room for seating, safety, and guest well-being
  • Assist servers when needed
  • Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return
Qualifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in hosting, especially in fine dining, preferred
  • Ability to multitask and work as part of a team
  • Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems
  • Positive attitude and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Residency within 50 miles of the hotel
  • Appropriate alcohol and food safety certifications
