Job summary

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Hosts to join our team at Big Meadows Lodge in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. You will welcome guests, manage the host station, and help ensure a smooth dining experience.

This tipped position offers weekly pay, meals, and employee discounts, with opportunities for growth across nationwide properties.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a guest service environment preferred.
• Ability to maintain a high energy level in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Review floor plan and reservation book daily to create seating charts.
• Seat guests and maintain control of wait times.
• Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup.
• Speak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, respond to complaints, and thank guests as they are leaving.
• Answer restaurant telephone line during assigned hours of operation.

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Hosts to join our team at Big Meadows Lodge in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. As a Host, you will be responsible for welcoming guests and managing the host station.

Pay

$16.00 - $16.00 / hour
