Mission

USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety.

Job Responsibilities:

  • ESA Analyst: Validates Thick/Laptop/Thin Zero Client technology and VDI and server assessment images are current prior to implementation.
  • Monitors the operation of HBSAs to ensure proper operations, and actively troubleshoots, analyzes, isolates, and takes corrective action for the root cause of problems that arise.
  • Recommends courses of action to return impacted systems to full operation status. Provides support and subject matter expertise in support of ESS functional capabilities.
  • Provides support and subject matter expertise for ESS supporting functional capabilities, including, but not limited to, host-based firewalls, Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Anti-Virus, and Application Whitelisting.
  • Populates, reports, and validates IT baseline elements including Operational Attribute (OA) Tagging in accordance with DoD policies and directives.
  • Updates ESA policies (ePO), creates reports, and works with USG personnel to deliver findings, courses of action, and corrective actions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree plus 3+ years of experience

CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Required: GFACT or GISF or Cloud+ or GCED or PenTest+ or Security+ or GSEC
  • Desired: ITIL 4 Foundation; CompTIA Network + or Microsoft Certified Modern Desktop Administrator Associate; or HDI Desktop Support Technician; or HDI Support Center Analyst; or Certified Endpoint Responder; VMware Certified Professional- Security

Location: Onsite - Offutt AFB, Nebraska - Relocation may be available

Clearance: Must be willing to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility

The likely salary range for this position is $94,676 - $128,092. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
