Host/Barista and Server Assistant (Hybrid Role)

This position involves managing the host stand, supporting servers as an assistant, and working as a barista in the Bakery. Team members can switch between these roles and are scheduled to cover any during their shift based on business needs.

Essential Functions

Host

• Greet and seat guests using the Tock platform.
• Hold the door for guests entering or leaving.
• Guide guests to restrooms upon request.
• Maintain table status updates on Tock.
• Review reservations, update visit notes, and manage the waitlist.
• Create and modify reservations, including refunds.
• Navigate the Tock platform proficiently.
• Assist with guest seating, to-go orders, and property directions.

Barista

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages.
• Recommend menu options and handle orders and billing via POS.
• Maintain inventory and equipment, ensuring sanitation and safety standards.

Server’s Assistant

• Clear and reset tables efficiently.
• Polish glassware and silverware, assist with food and beverage service, and process payments.
• Assist with table resets and guest questions about the property.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• At least 16 years old.
• Well-groomed, reliable transportation.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with Forbes Standards, multilingual abilities, certifications in alcohol awareness and CPR.
