About the role:

The Host(ess) is the first interaction for guests in our restaurants and is the designer of memorable experiences. This role is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. It is part of the Vernick Fish team within our Food and Beverage division, reporting to the Restaurant General Manager.

What you will do:

1. Welcome guests and provide exceptional service during their dining experience in collaboration with a team of servers.
2. Manage the host stand, review reservation book, and make recommendations for table setup.
3. Ensure cleanliness of each section of the dining room and make necessary improvements, checking each table prior to opening to ensure proper setup.
4. Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, ingredients, and restaurant information.

What you bring:

1. One to two years of previous experience in Food & Beverage outlets; experience within luxury hotels is considered an asset.
2. Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
3. Strong communication skills.
