Job summary

The Village Tavern, Inc. is seeking a friendly Host to greet guests, manage wait times, and escort customers to dining areas. You will be the first impression for guests, both in person and on the phone, playing a key role in creating a welcoming dining experience.

Located in Pembroke Gardens, Pembroke Pines, FL, this role offers flexible schedules with day and night shifts. Prior restaurant experience is helpful, but training is provided to the right candidate who is hardworking and eager to

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service with verbal and written communication skills.
• Team-oriented and passionate about food and service.
• Experience in restaurants (1-3 years preferred, but we’re happy to train the right person!).
• Hardworking, with a great attitude and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with seating.
• Answering the phone and taking reservations or inquiries.
• Escort customers to dining areas and maintain a clean work environment.
• Maintain accurate wait times and communicate effectively with guests.
• Complete tasks assigned by MOD in timely manner.
• Ensure positive, friendly communication at all times.

What You’ll Do

As a Host, you are guests' first impressions of Village Tavern, in person and on the phone! You’ll be responsible for greeting guests, providing accurate wait times, and escorting customers to the dining areas.
