Hilton Ballpark is seeking a team‑oriented Host/Hostess to ensure a warm, efficient welcome for every guest. You will seat guests, manage the host station, and coordinate with servers to maintain smooth dining room operation.

This role requires attention to detail, guest service excellence, and the ability to manage reservations while keeping the dining area clean and organized. Weekend shifts may be required to cashier during peak times.

Position SummaryResponsible for positive experience of guests while maintaining the quality standards of the restaurant and superior customer service.Example of DutiesEssential FunctionsControl the flow of work in the room by seating guests in station rotation while maintaining guest lists and following and enforcing check issue procedures.Assign opening and/or closing side duties. Supervise side work and ensure completed lists of set ups of all stations before departure of service staff.Handle reservation book, take incoming telephone calls, note reservations and special requests by guests.Maintain the Hostess stand in a clean and organized manor. Return all items of CGS to the side station for re-use. Keep newspapers and menus clean and organized.Table support required once guest has been directed to their table, additional place settings removed, coffee or juice offered if servers are busy.Always greet using LHM 4 core standards.Breakfast shifts bank must be maintained every day in the host station for making change. Weekends may be required to cashier.During peak business take an active role in restaurant cleanliness and organization, including sweeping up debris from the buffet and around tables in the dining room.Supportive FunctionsIn addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.Perform general clerical tasks including maintaining logbooks and reservation books.Assist in table setting and general dining room maintenance during peak periods.Perform other duties as requested, such as executing special guest requests.
