Job summary

Hash Kitchen Salt Lake City is seeking a Host to be the friendly face greeting guests and helping them start their brunch experience. You will assist guests in customizing their dream doughnut at our build-your-own doughnut bar and ensure a welcoming atmosphere from entry to seating.

As part of the team, you will warmly greet guests, manage the waitlist, handle phone calls and takeout orders, and collaborate with squad members.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• No previous experience is needed, we offer on the job training.
• Willing to go the extra mile to create the ultimate guest experience.
• Knowledgeable about the menu and the varying products we carry.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests as they enter the restaurant.
• Monitor the guest waitlist, estimate wait times, interact with guests while they are waiting and ensure they are comfortable.
• Answer phones, coordinate takeout phone orders, sell gift cards and collaborate with other squad members.
• Clean, stock, and prep doughnut bar.
• Assist guests in our build your own doughnut bar experience.

A Day In The Brunch Life

As a Host for Hash Kitchen, you will be the friendly face of our company that gets to interact with our guests first! You will assist our guests in customizing their dream doughnut at our build your own doughnut bar. Imagine all the fillings and sprinkles you could possibly desire! As a Host you are a key player in creating a positive and memorable experience by making our guests feel welcome and comfortable when they first enter our building and while they wait for a table.
