Job summary

Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill in Ohio is seeking friendly, upbeat team members to join our fast-paced dining team. You’ll greet guests, manage seating, handle reservations, and help keep the dining room welcoming and clean.

No prior experience required, but strong communication and multi-tasking help. Must be at least 16. We offer weekly pay, flexible scheduling, meal discounts, and benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a high volume environment.
• Must be 16 years of age to apply.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a welcoming and positive attitude.
• Manage seating software and update table status.
• Communicate effectively with FOH team and managers.
• Estimate wait times based on table times and party size.
• Make accommodations for guests based on need.
• Bus, clean, and sanitize tables and chairs quickly.
• Handle phone calls and reservation inquiries.
• Direct carryout pickup as needed.
• Assist serving staff with pre-bussing and delivering items.
• Build relationships with new and returning guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining room and restrooms.
• Execute daily cleaning tasks as directed.

Responsibilities:

• Greet Guests as they Arrive with a Welcoming and Positive Attitude
• Manage Seating Software by Entering Accurate Guest Information and Updating Table Status
• Communicate Effectively with Front of House Team Members and Managers
• Estimate Accurate Wait Times for Guests based on Current Table Times, Party Size, Wait List, and other Factors
• Use Good Judgment to make Appropriate Accommodations for Guests based on Need
• Bus, Clean, and Sanitize Tables/Chairs/Seats Quickly to Ensure Efficient Seating
• Handle Phone Calls and any Inquiries on Reservations, as Needed
• Direct and Facilitate Carryout Pickup for Guests, as Needed
• Assist Serving Staff when Necessary, with Pre-Bussing Tables and Delivering Food and Beverages to Guests
• Work to Build Relationships with New and Regular Customers
• Maintain Cleanliness and Presentation of the Dining Room, Restrooms, and other Public Areas
• Execute Daily Cleaning Details, as Outlined by the Management Team
