Experience & Qualifications

• 1 year of hosting experience in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant.
• Passion for excellence, superior service standards, and a positive attitude.
• Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift, including frequent bending, lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs, and stooping.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure all stations are properly stocked and set up before and during service and complete any additional opening duties.
• Manage all aspects of reservation systems: confirmation messages, guest check-in, special requests and celebrations, table plotting, updating floorplans, etc.
• Lead guests to tables and follow Hogsalt standards for seating, distributing menus, and creating a great first impression.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide consistent, genuine, and generous service; create personal connections and use names whenever possible.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining room throughout service, including all menus and supplies.
• Provide a warm welcome and acknowledge guest departures.
• Address guest needs or concerns promptly; communicate issues to leadership.
• Complete all closing duties, including sidework and cleaning tasks.
• Ensure all Hogsalt Steps Of Service are properly executed.
