Job summary

Nudy's Cafes is seeking a customer-focused Host to join our front of house team. You will welcome guests, seat them, and help ensure an exceptional dining experience across our multi-location restaurants in Delaware Valley.

You are a natural people person with strong organizational and communication skills, able to manage multiple priorities. Hosting shifts are 9 am - 2:30 pm daily, with opportunities for advancement within a family-owned operation.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant hosting or serving experience preferred.
• Friendly and customer-focused personality.
• Ability to articulate greetings, farewells and requests clearly.
• Clear communication of guests’ needs to servers and staff.
• Ability to communicate on the telephone.
• Must be able to carry trays or supplies (10–30 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas.
• Provide guests with menus.
• Assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation so that servers receive an appropriate number of seatings.
• Inform guests of current promotions and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff.
• Manage the flow of guests into the dining and bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate.
• Operate cash registers to accept payments for food and beverages.

Nudy's Cafes is a multi-location restaurant company that has been family owned & operated since opening our first location in 1979. The customer journey is one of our keys to success. Nudy's Cafe is the go‑to casual breakfast & lunch location that provides quick, reasonably priced & freshly prepared meals in a family friendly environment. We currently operate in soon to be 16 locations across Chester, Montgomery, and Delaware Counties. We have positioned ourselves to expand further throughout the Delaware Valley.

Customers come in and experience our award-winning food, dedicated staff & small town hospitality. We are actively hiring for full time and part-time Hosts for our front of the house in all of our locations across Chester, Montgomery, and Delaware Counties. We utilize a multiunit hiring policy to assist in covering staffing gaps across the organization.

Hosting shifts are 9 am - 2:30 pm daily.
