Job summary

OHSO Brewery and Distillery in Gilbert, AZ is seeking friendly Hosts to welcome guests and their dogs, manage the waitlist, answer phones, and help seat tables. As the first and last contact, you set the tone for a fun, organized, and memorable O.H.S.O.

experience from arrival to departure. You will work closely with servers and managers to keep service moving, monitor the front-of-house areas, and ensure guests feel cared for.

Job description

We are looking for friendly, outgoing Hosts who love making people—and their dogs—feel welcome. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you’ll help set the tone for a fun, organized, and memorable O.H.S.O. experience from the moment they arrive until the moment they leave.

In this role, you’ll greet guests, manage the waitlist, answer phones, seat tables, and help keep the front door running smoothly. You’ll work closely with servers, managers, and the rest of the front-of-house team to keep service moving and make sure every guest feels taken care of.

Dogs are a big part of the O.H.S.O. experience, so you must enjoy having four-legged guests around!

Responsibilities

• Provide menus and answer basic questions about the restaurant
• Welcome four-legged guests by providing a fresh water bowl for every dog dining with us
• Monitor the dining room and waiting area to help maintain an organized flow
• Check in with guests and help address concerns when neededCommunicate clearly with servers, managers, and other team members
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand, entryway, and waiting area
• Assist with other front-of-house duties as needed
• Thank guests and invite them to return as they leave

Pay

• $15.15 to $17.00 per hour, based on experience
