Job summary

Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen is seeking a Host to warmly greet guests, seat them efficiently, and help maintain a clean dining area. You will collaborate with servers and managers to manage party counts and seating, ensuring a smooth flow of the dining room.

This role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and a positive guest experience. To succeed, you should enjoy a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly, and be able to multitask while keeping guests at the center of every interaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them promptly to create a welcoming first impression.
• Coordinate with servers and managers on party counts and seating to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain clean, sanitized guest touchpoints and assist with other tasks as needed.

First impressions count! You are the first person guests see when they walk in the door; it's your job to make them feel welcome, glad they came and to seat them quickly. Hosts also ensure Guest touch points are clean and sanitized; when the guest is done with their meal, to give them a genuine thank you as they walk out the door. On top of seating Guests, you assist Servers and Managers by communicating with them in terms of party counts and seating so that everything runs smoothly. Hosts can make Guest experiences great - and being a Host can be a lot of fun!
