Job summary

Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests, manage seating, and support servers and managers in delivering a smooth dining experience. You will help greet guests, coordinate party counts, and ensure the host area stays clean and inviting.

The right candidate will enjoy a fast-paced environment, value teamwork, and be ready to contribute to Cheddar's welcoming culture and guest satisfaction every day.

Responsibilities

• Seat guests and welcome them to Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen to ensure a positive first impression.
• Communicate party counts and seating needs to servers and managers to keep service running smoothly.
• Help keep the host area clean and sanitized; thank guests as they leave and support overall guest experience.

Job description

For this position, pay will be variable by location - See additional job details and benefits below. First impressions count! You are the first person guests see when they walk in the door; it's your job to make them feel welcome, glad they came and to seat them quickly. Hosts also ensure Guest touch points are clean and sanitized; when the guest is done with their meal, to give them a genuine thank you as they walk out the door. On top of seating Guests, you assist Servers and Managers by communicating with them in terms of party counts and seating so that everything runs smoothly. Hosts can make Guest experiences great - and being a Host can be a lot of fun!
