Job summary

LAGO (Glenview) is seeking a friendly and energetic Host to welcome guests, manage seating, and coordinate reservations in a fast-paced dining room. You will create a warm first impression and ensure guests feel valued from arrival through departure.

We value hospitality, teamwork, and a proactive approach during busy shifts. The role involves standing for extended periods and light lifting, with training provided to help you excel in guest service.

ABOUT LAGO (GLENVIEW)

Excellence is coming to Glenview, at a restaurant called LAGO, the creation and vision of Fabio Viviani. With an emphasis on steak and fine libation you will experience Italian tradition with an innovative twist. The cuts are only the thickest and finest and the seafood is unsurpassed. Position: Host

Compensation: Base wage of $9.00/hour plus tips. Team members are guaranteed to earn at least $15.00/hour in accordance with applicable wage laws, with the opportunity to earn more based on gratuities.

• Ability to multi-task and stay organized during busy service times
• Ability to pay attention to details
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 10+ pounds repetitively
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Hosting, guest service experience preferred
