Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurants is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests, manage seating, and keep the dining flow smooth. You will greet guests, handle reservations by phone, and support the team to deliver a memorable first impression.

Ideal candidates love hospitality, communicate clearly, and can multitask in a fast-paced setting while lifting up to 40 pounds and working weekends and holidays. English literacy is required at all times.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Love for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multitasking.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Clear communication and teamwork are essential.
• Read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with energy and enthusiasm from the first interaction.
• Answer guest calls with professionalism and hospitality.
• Set up the host area following checklists for a smooth shift.
• Maintain a professional image at all times per guidelines.
• Manage table flow and seating to minimize delays and bottlenecks.
• Communicate with managers and team to keep service moving smoothly.
• Assist servers and support staff to ensure a great guest experience.
• Answer questions about food and wine with warmth and knowledge.
• Assist with light side work and keep entry area presentable.
• Maintain polished phone etiquette for reservations and inquiries.

• Support servers and service assistants when needed to help the team shine

• Answer questions about food, wine, and experiences with warmth and knowledge
• Share insights about our Barrel Reserve wine during each escort to the table

Add a Touch

• Help with light side work and maintain the entry area so every guest’s first impression is a great one
• Keep phone etiquette polished and professional when answering calls and handling reservations
