About the Role

The Host is one of the most important roles in the restaurant. You control:

• The first impression
• The flow of the dining room
• The pace of service

This is an entry point into front-of-house growth, with a clear path to Server and expanded responsibility for those who perform.

Guest Experience

• Assist with waters, resets, and light floor support

Step 1: Host

• Master greeting, flow, and communication

Step 2: Host – Utility (Cross-Trained)

• Beverage station support
• Food running and sizzling plate prep
• Increased responsibility and hourly pay

Step 3: Server (Earned, Not Automatic)
