Job summary

LAZ Parking California, LLC is hiring a Hospitality Valet Attendant in San Jose, CA. The role offers a $23.00 per hour compensation plus tips, with a part-time schedule on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. A valid driver’s license with at least two years of driving experience is required.

• Parkand retrievecars like a champ. This means carefully, efficiently,andin a timely manner. Greet all customers by name, take care of their needs,anddevelop a rapport with each person driving up to your stand.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GEDpreferred but not required.
• Cash handling experience is preferred but not required.
• Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.

• Ability to drive a manual shift vehicle.

• Willingness to be flexible,workmultiple facility locations.
• Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations.
• Mustbe able to work unsupervised.
• Mustbe able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded).
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
• Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License (2 years minimum)
• High school diploma or GED Preferred
• Strong Customer service experience preferred
• Parking and/or hospitality industry experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements -- heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, pushandpull at least 25 pounds.
• Abilityto stand, walkandrun for extended periods of time.
• Abilitytobend, stoop, squatandlift frequently throughout a shift.
