Job summary

Haley & Bear welcomes applicants for a Server Assistant who supports servers and helps deliver exceptional dining experiences. You will quickly and accurately transport orders from the kitchen to guests, and you will clear and reset tables while maintaining guest satisfaction throughout the service.

Essential duties include assisting servers, monitoring food quality, handling guest requests, and keeping service areas clean. Reliable teamwork and a positive attitude are valued in our dining team.

Qualifications

• Education or Experience: No high school diploma required; one month of related hospitality experience and/or training.
• Language Skills: Read and comprehend instructions, safety rules, and memos; speak clearly and confidently.
• Mathematical Skills: Add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.
• Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to follow instructions and solve problems.
• Valid NH driver's license and favorable driving record to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders quickly and accurately from kitchen to guests.
• Clear and reset tables; ensure guest satisfaction throughout dining experience.
• Monitor food quality and presentation while delivering orders.
• Handle guest requests and relay messages to team members.
• Assist food servers by running food and bussing tables.
• Maintain the physical upkeep of kitchen and service areas.
• Work well with a diverse group of people.
