Job summary

The Harrison, a Sonida Senior Living community in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Dining Service Assistant to serve residents in the dining room with professionalism and care.

You’ll assist in food preparation, help maintain clean dining areas, and support the kitchen and servers. We offer competitive benefits, paid training, PTO from day one, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• One to two years’ experience in a similar position preferred.
• Twelve (12) plus years of education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves residents and guests seated in the dining room in a professional manner following established procedures.
• Assists in drink and food preparation for the Residents and performs assigned tasks in clean up, washing the dishes and setting up and taking down the dining areas.
• Preparing and serving snacks to include replenishing stock items in the common area refreshment centers for the residents.
• Assists chefs in the food preparation tasks and serving as assigned.
• Completes the dishwashing tasks and schedules for efficient dining service operations
