Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in hospitality in a similar position or transferable skill set.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Opera, Cvent and Hyatt systems preferred but not mandatory.
• Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office systems required.
• Proactive, organized and customer service-oriented.
• Able to bend, lift, push, pull and carry in excess of 25 pounds.
• Refined verbal communication and interpersonal skills, excellent writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Fielding phone calls and emails, assigning opportunities to correct sellers.
• Qualifying leads when necessary.
• Building group templates in proprietary sales system.
• Post-stay support – World of Hyatt points posting, commission assistance.
• Entering and sending rooming lists.
• Facilitate incoming group leads and manage pipeline, handle client requests, and communicate customer needs.
• Provide support for customer events as needed.
• Reservations input.
• Coordinate logistics for sales appointments and presentations, arranging travel, restaurant reservations, catering orders, updating, and producing final schedule, preparing customer profiles, and reconfirming arrangements.
• Support with creating inhouse BEO’s, print menus, draft group resumes etc.
• Processing of departmental purchase orders and invoices.
• Oversee shared live documents and their inputs.
• Other duties as assigned
