Hilton Wilmington Christiana & Meyer Jabara Hotels is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the sales team in a fast-paced hospitality setting. You will manage client communications, coordinate banquet event orders, and help ensure seamless guest experiences.

The role requires at least two years in hotel sales in an administrative or coordinator capacity. Proficiency in Excel and Word is expected, with Salesforce experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Has at least two years of hotel sales experience in an administrative, coordinator or Front Desk role.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Professional and capable of representing the hotel in and out of the property.
• Able to multi task and maintain a positive attitude at all times.
• Keeps a neat and organized work area and communicates effectively with all departments.
• Able to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Reaches out to the client and introduces themselves when the business is definite and the Sales Manager has turned over the contract.
• Manage outgoing banquet event orders to clients in a timely manner and follow up on related correspondence.
• Plan banquet menus with clients.
• Liaise between departments and the client to provide the best service within budget and time constraints.
• Greet groups in the morning to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Contact the technical support department when problems arise.
• Conduct follow ups with clients (pre-cons and thank-you letters) and attend BEO meetings; complete required training and meet deadlines.
