Job summary

Gensler is seeking a seasoned Project Architect in Las Vegas to lead the design of a confidential integrated resort. You will guide concept, schematic design, development, and construction documentation, coordinating with architects, consultants, and clients to deliver exceptional experiences.

You will manage client relationships, lead design coordination, and mentor teams while advancing design excellence across hospitality, casino, and entertainment environments.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture with US licensure required; Nevada or NCARB licensure preferred.
• 8+ years of architectural experience in large-scale mixed-use, hospitality, casino and integrated resorts.
• LEED accreditation and experience preferred.
• Revit mastery or BIM experience highly preferred.
• Outstanding knowledge of building codes, standards and structures.
• Proficient in public-speaking and leading large teams of consultants, contractors, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead programming, entitlements, and design phases from Concept through Construction Documents and closeout.
• Obtain and negotiate consultant proposals and prepare consultant contracts.
• Perform technical design tasks, programming client needs, and develop concepts into technical studies and docs.
• Engage with clients to obtain approvals and manage client stakeholders.
• Manage coordination across client, team, and project with engineers and specialty consultants.
• Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and authorities.
• Provide design support and documentation during design concept realization.
• Collaborate with external consultants, product reps, furniture dealers, and fabricators.
