Job summary

FB Society, based in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Public Relations Manager to drive earned media and storytelling for our brands. You will write compelling pitches and releases, build journalist relationships, and lead PR initiatives across the portfolio.

The role requires exceptional writing, strong media instincts, and the ability to manage multiple brands in a fast-paced environment. Salary ranges from $75,000 to $80,000 with bonus potential, plus benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of public relations, media relations or communications experience.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills.
• Established relationships with journalists, editors and producers.
• Strong storytelling instincts and ability to recognize newsworthy angles.
• Ability to ladder individual stories up to larger brand and company messages.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local, regional and national media across food, hospitality, lifestyle, business, travel and related categories.
• Proactively pitch reporters, editors and producers to secure meaningful earned media coverage for our brands.
• Develop creative story angles tied to our brands, people, growth and industry trends.
• Write media pitches, press releases, talking points, executive messaging and other communications materials.
• Create content for FB Society's LinkedIn presence and adapt messaging for different audiences.
• Prepare executives and spokespeople for interviews with key messages and anticipated questions.
