Job summary

Fort Gordon Business Operations Division is seeking a position that supports cash handling, event setup, and food service logistics on Fort Gordon. The role includes cashiering duties, inventory monitoring, and daily reporting to ensure smooth operations for military families and staff.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong customer service, the ability to communicate clearly, and compliance with federal and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Resume must be two pages or less.
• Alcohol service requires meeting state/local age requirements at time of appointment.
• Must have strong customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Issues, receives and controls cash receipts and change funds; verifies cash count of funds turned in by cashiers.
• Assists in setting up parties according to party plan.
• May monitor inventories, place and receive food and beverage orders using Food track or similar software.
• Completes Daily Activity Report.
• May assist bartenders in setting up bars and/or cashier's bag.
