THE ROLE

A highly regarded luxury wine estate in Napa Valley is seeking an exceptional Hospitality Liaison to join its team and serve as an ambassador for an elevated, highly personalized guest experience.

This is a guest-facing full-time position for a hospitality professional who understands that luxury service extends far beyond the tasting itself. The Hospitality Liaison will host private experiences, cultivate meaningful client relationships, support property operations, and help continuously elevate the hospitality program.

The position will be primarily based at one of the estate's private hospitality properties, with opportunities to support additional properties, experiences, events, and hospitality initiatives as the organization continues to grow.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest Experiences
  • Host private tastings and experiences with warmth, confidence, discretion, and genuine hospitality.
  • Curate each visit around the individual interests, preferences, and history of the guest while maintaining established service standards.
  • Follow a carefully curated service flow without becoming scripted or transactional.
  • Build and nurture new and existing client relationships.
  • Naturally introduce wine acquisition opportunities and support long-term client development.
  • Practice responsible hospitality and maintain the highest standards of guest privacy and safety.
Client Relationship & Follow-Up
  • Maintain thoughtful and accurate guest profiles, preferences, interests, and purchase history.
  • Communicate meaningful guest information to appropriate internal teams.
  • Identify opportunities for future engagement, acquisition, and return visits.
  • Send personalized handwritten thank-you notes and appropriate gifts before and following visits.
Hospitality Operations
  • Prepare, stage, open, and close hospitality spaces to the highest standard.
  • Support tastings, lunches, dinners, events, and special experiences from setup through breakdown.
  • Maintain pristine guest-facing areas, service tools, glassware, and hospitality equipment.
  • Assist with wine and hospitality inventories.
  • Coordinate property, inventory, and maintenance needs with Hospitality and Events leadership.
  • Proactively identify what needs attention and take ownership of it.
  • Has ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid California driver's license.
  • Has availability to work weekends, holidays, and winery events.
Leadership & Growth
  • Capture hospitality metrics and contribute to the continued development of the program.
  • Help refine service standards, guest experiences, and operational practices.
  • Train and mentor future hosts as the organization’s hospitality program expands.
  • Support additional properties, off-site events, and select referral relationships as needed.
  • Serve as a lead hospitality presence when management is not on site.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Experienced in luxury hospitality, wine, food & beverage, or a similarly elevated service environment.
  • Naturally warm, polished, engaging, and highly observant.
  • Comfortable with discerning, high-profile, and high-net-worth guests.
  • Passionate about wine, food, storytelling, and creating memorable experiences.
  • Discreet, professional, and emotionally intelligent.
  • Sales-minded without being transactional.
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized.
  • Proactive and comfortable taking ownership without waiting to be directed.
  • A natural leader who enjoys mentoring and elevating those around them.
  • Flexible and willing to contribute wherever the needs of the business take you.
  • Most importantly, you see beyond the tasting. You see the guest, the property, the team, the business, and the opportunity to build something exceptional.
COMPENSATION
  • Base Salary: $75,000 annually
  • Annual Bonus: 10% target bonus with opportunity for up to 15% based on wine sales performance
  • Tips: Eligible to participate in the hospitality tip pool
  • Benefits: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, 401k with discretionary match from ownership
