Responsibilities

• Collect soiled linens and towels from designated areas.
• Safely transport linens between hotel areas using a cart or vehicle.
• Sort laundry by type, color, fabric, and soiling level.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, ironers, folders, and related equipment.
• Measure and use laundry chemicals per safety guidelines.
• Inspect linens for stains or damage and flag items for treatment.
• Fold and store clean linens; maintain inventory accuracy.
• Deliver clean linens to departments and collect soiled items as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area and equipment.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures.
• Report equipment issues or shortages to management.
• Provide courteous service to guests and colleagues.
• Assist other departments as needed.
